Jim Anderson, Chief Technology Officer and Inventor, has created a variety of innovative and disruptive technologies throughout his career. In his teens, Jim creatively was working on the early versions of speech recognition at IBM. An early pioneer in the online industry, Jim was a key developer at early consumer online service Prodigy, and later went on to become a founder and to play a key role in the growth of the top Internet Company About.com.

Jim currently owns and operates a number of companies in the Security, Mobile, Social and Science’s industries. Jim’s company, AtPlay Inc., has helped a number of Fortune 500 companies solve various technology issues, as well as help them create innovative solutions. Jim has also developed numerous leading edge technologies and patented solutions in computing, security and telephony via his privately held companies, most notably Standard ID and Augment Communications. He has pioneered many technological solutions in the areas of Security, Artificial Intelligence, Telecommunications, Social Networking, Search, Software and Systems Architecture. Additionally, Jim has worked on intelligent systems and design around U.S. Patriot Act, KYC (Know Your Customer), and Anti-Money Laundering solutions. Jim is also a respected authority on Security, Terrorism and Counter Terrorism Solutions and has presented numerous lectures and keynotes on these subjects.

Jim's compassion and expertise has led him to donating his time and research to a number of worthy Non Profit Organizations and Educational Institutions over the years such as University of Syracuse, Tufts University, Kids for World Health and the Guardian Angels. Jim is an active participating advisor and sits on the Board of a number of companies.

More recently, Jim has given lectures and teaches on topics such as: Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Telecommunications and Networking, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Internet Security & Safety, Security, Mobile Technologies (including banking, security, commerce and next generation solutions) and Social Networking for a number of Universities. Jim has currently been working on furthering his education.

Jim is an author and co-author of several books on Java and JavaScript computing technology. Jim also holds a number of patents both issued and pending.
