Lucy Lu’s academic career at New York University prepared her for her position as a Marketing and Project Development Specialist with Saber Seven. As an undergraduate she studied Economics, Psychology, Law, and Statistics, which led to a Masters Program in Industrial and Organizational Psychology where her course work included Consumer Behavior Research and Multi-International Business Management.
Lucy strongly believes that in a multi-cultural world linked by technology and information streams the personal, human-faced and trusted referral is the strongest marketing strategy.
Lucy loves to take charge and problem solve, but has learned the value balancing independence with teamwork and cooperation in pursuit of larger goals.
Lucy was born in China and raised primarily by her grandmother, the matriarch of her family. She grew up and attended boarding school in Australia and studied in New York and Florence, Italy. She credits her year in Italy with opening her eyes to the world of art, music and cultural history and shaping her passion for Opera.
At NYU, she participated in an humanitarian project devising and delivering training material facilitating computer skills for a Neighborhood Social Service Jobs Program, which won the President’s Award in 2007.
As a Financial Assistant at Mercer Partners Funds, Lucy researched market trends in support of their hedge fund portfolio.
Lucy relaxes aggressively, skiing, sailing and horseback riding. New experiences and achievements are always calling Lucy Lu.
