Misha Hosain comes to Saber Seven with an eager mind, surprising experience in one so young, and a world view combining business, communication and design which is very much in sync with this young corporation.
Misha is currently completing his BA degree in History and Economics at New York University, College or Arts and Science. He believes that being in New York with its rewarding opportunities for exploring the arts is paramount in his education. His passion for film is stimulated by the vibrant city and has already found expression in his work as Director, cameraman and editor on a popular local Public Access television show.
Misha was the winner of the Audio Theater Production in 2006 and was nominated fro the Sight and Sound Showcase in 2007.
He has traveled in South Asia, Europe, and the Caribbean, exploring cultures above the waves and scuba diving below. Misha maintains cultural ties with Pakistan by supporting APWA, an humanitarian organization dedicated to improving the status, livelihoods and rights of women in Pakistan. Misha has contributed technical support and computer training to APWA.
Misha is quite at home in a business environment. He was an intern at UBS Financial Securities compiling performance statistics on mutual funds, and at the Office of the Bronx Borough President, researching public policy issues.
His advise to other young graduates is to be open to new ideas. “Be flexible and curious. Life’s adventure may take in surprising directions!”
