Nigel McIvor started his early entrepreneurial ventures in his homeland of Ireland operating a very successful heavy machinery rental company for seven years. While managing his own business Nigel then contracted with Bose loudspeakers, working in marketing and sales, setting up an extensive dealer network across the country before leaving for the United States in 1992 to pursue one of his big dreams of an aviation career.
Nigel started his aviation training with a degree in aviation science in Pittsburgh PA and then completed his training at prestigious Flight Safety International Academy in Vero Beach FL. He rapidly progressed to an assistant chief pilot instructor at Flight Safety before leaving in 1997 to accept a position at a regional commuter airline flying in the complex airspace of North Eastern United States. After a relatively short stay at the commuter airline, in 2000 Nigel accepted a position at JetBlue Airways flying the Airbus A320, where he currently flies as a Captain. Nigel has also been very actively investing in a growing real estate portfolio since 2000.
