Steve Barnett is a pioneer in innovation and excellence in the Healthcare Services and Facilities Management Industries. He has brought seasoned and executive leadership to each company he has worked for or personally started. He has been the Chief Operating Officer of several service companies and has excelled by emphasizing the clients’ needs and respect for employees. With a philosophy of team-building, Steve has seen his companies purchased at significant capital appreciation.
Since 1996, Mr. Barnett has been Executive Vice President of Pennsylvania based Professional Services, where he has led the company to an expansion of its facilities management and food service to over 80 health care clients in 14 states, increasing Company revenues by a 25% average annual growth rate to a $150 million managed account volume.
Between 1991 and 1995 he guided, as Executive Vice President, the start-up Morrison-Crothall Support Services to a national presence serving over 100 clients in just four years.
It was as Executive Vice President of the Marriott Facilities Services Group between 1985 and 1991 that Steve earned the reputation as a Company Builder, directing the worldwide hotelier’s entrée to the health care support industry.
As Division President for the Eastern USA at Crothall American, (1977-1985), Mr Barnett began his 30 year business and personal relationship with his mentor Mr. Graeme Crothall, an icon of the facilities management industry, and business associate and friend Chris Coyne, currently CEO and Founder of Saber Seven.
Steve Barnett is happily married and very proud of his three children, Adam, Jared and Jill. He resides in the suburbs of Philadelphia.
